About CRAMER

Cramer Systems, founded in 1996 by Jon Craton and Don Gibson develop operations support systems OSS systems for the telecommunication industry (telco's like Vodafone, KPN Telecom, BT. In August 2006 Amdocs announced the completion of the acquisition of the company. The products developed by Cramer are now an integral part of the Amdocs product suite.

In a nutshell CRAMER is an OSS system for telecom providers. Moreover Cramer has proven its ability to automate network planning and build out, to improve the use of network assets and to quickly take the operator live.

Cramer will help customers to realize savings and efficiencies as it rolls out its new 3G network in a country. Cramer will automate the network plan and build process, and provide fast, accurate provisioning of bandwidth to support popular 3G wireless applications.

With six wireless providers choosing Cramer over the last year, a clear picture is emerging of Cramer as the leader in inventory management for 2G and 3G operators.

Potential Customers

The potential customer base of their products is relative small: only the larger communication providers with large networks (cables and equipment) will consider implementing a system such as Cramer Systems have developed.

Wireless operators that have selected Cramer in the last 12 months include H3G (UK), Monet (US), Netcom (Norway), Pannon GSM (Hungary), Vodafone Ireland, and now 3 (Sweden). Cegetel (France), O2 (UK) and KPN Mobile (Netherlands) are long time Cramer customers.

What we can offer?

SeaSoft will play the role of Primary System Integrator to implement Cramer for Telecos.

For example
HUTCHISONS3 could have used Cramer as part of an agreement with SeaSoft, which will install and integrate Cramer with other Operations Support Systems.

MONIES Replacement Project, Saudi Aramco, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The project involved replacing legacy “MONIES” a Mainframe based system which was used to manage every aspect of Saudi Aramco’s Telecom network with Cramer5 (an Operational Support System). We installed and integrated Cramer5.
Our Cramer5 implementation automated the network planning and building process, and provided fast, accurate provisioning of bandwidth to optimize Saudi Aramco’s network infrastructure.
Our Cramer5 installation and integration helped Saudi Aramco to realize savings and efficiencies.

NGPOSS Project, Qwest Communications, Minneapolis, USA.

 

The project involved installing & integrating Cramer5 with Qwest Communications existing Operations Support System.

This project helped Quest Communications to improve the use of network
assets and to quickly take their new operations live.
